OPEN TO ALL PRINT ARTISTS
Asheville Print Gallery’s exhibition themes are broad and open to interpretation. Your work must be in the print realm: Lino, Wood Block, Etching, Mono Print, Solarplate, Silkscreen, Litho or Mixed Media with Print Inclusions - all are acceptable.
*Giclée prints are not accepted - ever.
APPLICATION PROCESS
DEADLINE: Last day to apply for participation in a show is one month prior to Install date. Images are due at that time.
Send 2-3 images in an email to: ashevilleprintstudio@gmail.com
Please indicate which exhibit you are applying for. Exhibition Schedule is at the bottom of this page.
Small three-dimensional works will be considered.
There is NO APPLICATION FEE.
EXHIBITOR GUIDELINES
Work should be neatly presented and framed in black or white simple gallery style frames with hanging wire - no sawtooth hangers please.
Please follow framing guidelines regarding color, style, wiring, etc. or you work may not be hung in the show.
Please include a brief description of your work including materials and techniques used and what type of paper you used. A one to two sentence description of the work is always appreciated!
Work needs to be dropped off at Asheville Print Studio & Gallery, as well as picked up, in a timely manner. We will not ship back to you.
Contact information should be attached securely to the back of all artwork when it is delivered.
Asheville Print Gallery takes care of shipping artwork to purchasers should the need arise.

2024 EXHIBITION SCHEDULE
BIRDS, BEES, BEARS & BLUE RIDGE MOUNTAINS
Our WNC environment IS the mountains and all they hold. Printmakers are asked to respond to our location and its specific aspects for this show. Are you concerned with environmental changes that are happening to our beautiful land? Interested in native birds, bees or hiking the mountains?? Respond with art!
Reception: May 11, 4-8 pm
Deinstall: June 30, 11-1 for pickup
WARM & COOL
Colors are organized by families and illicit strong emotions. What colors do you respond to? How do these make you feel? Create your work accordingly. Abstraction, realism and mixed media prints are acceptable. As always, work must be 50% or more printmaking and handmade.

A Double Dose of Inky Goodness!
ALPHABETICA
Letters, numbers, fonts, type design, words, scribble, stream of consciousness writing, nonsense letter forms, messages, syllabary, non-English text… combined with imagery, graphics or whatever suits your work is the guideline for this show. Mixed media artworks are acceptable. Works must be 50% or more printmaking and handmade.
SQUARE FORMAT
Work that is contained in a square of any size is eligible for this show. Topic is your choice. Think outside the box… components that build to a square are acceptable. Must, as always, be 50% or more printmaking and handmade.

ANNUAL HOLIDAY EXTRAVAGANZA: Affordable Art under $100 and Big & Fabulous works - priced accordingly!
Any topic/theme is acceptable. Framed prints are preferred but unframed prints will be accepted. Generally, small works should be 11x14” and smaller with a price point under $100. For the Big & Fabulous portion of this show, a limited number of large and lovely prints will be accepted - these can be priced accordingly.
